The wash side of De Lorenzo's smoothing range, for normal to dry hair that frizzes and needs moisture put back rather than stripped out. It builds a full lather and leaves the scalp feeling refreshed — useful if you use styling products often.

The actives

• Ammonium laureth sulfate and ammonium lauryl sulfate — the cleansing base; a proper lather that shifts product build-up.
• Hydrolysed baobab seed protein — a plant protein included to support the feel and resilience of dry hair.
• Ginkgo biloba leaf extract, bilberry and blackberry fruit extracts — the botanical extracts.
• Soy and wheat proteins and rice amino acids — conditioning proteins that survive the rinse.
• Amodimethicone and dimethicone — silicones that stay on the hair after rinsing to smooth it.
• Cucumber fruit extract and aloe leaf juice — the soothing remainder.

How to use it

Apply to wet hair, massage gently into the scalp and lengths to build a rich lather, rinse thoroughly and repeat if you want. Follow with a De Lorenzo conditioner.

Worth knowing

This is a sulfate-based shampoo. That is what gives it the lather and the thorough wash, but if you are on a sulphate-free routine to protect fresh colour, it is not the right cleanser.
