A violet-pigmented conditioning treatment for blonde hair that has started to pull warm — bleached, highlighted or naturally fair. It behaves like a toning conditioner, not a quick rinse, and you control how much tone it deposits by how long you leave it on — a weekly top-up between salon visits, or a heavier correction once brass returns.

The actives

  • Violet pigment — DunGüd uses what it calls the latest generation of cationic pigments, high and persistent in colour, to neutralise yellow and warm tones.
  • Davidson plum and nettle leaf — two antioxidant botanicals included to support the condition of the hair.
  • Hydrolysed wheat protein — the conditioning side of the formula, for moisture, strength and shine.

How to use it

Shampoo first, then towel-dry so hair is damp rather than dripping. Apply through mid-lengths and ends, leave three to five minutes depending on how much tone you want to shift, then rinse. Once a week is the sensible default; stretch it out if your blonde already runs cool.

Worth knowing

This tones, it does not lighten — it neutralises warmth you can already see, but will not change the underlying level. Porous and very pale blondes grab pigment fast, so start short on time.

After shampooing, apply evenly to towel-dried hair.

Leave on for 3–5 minutes, depending on the level of toning desired.

Rinse thoroughly.

Use weekly or as needed to maintain tone and brightness.
