DunGud Blow Out - Expansion Spray 275ml

An aerosol volumising spray for fine and flat hair, aimed squarely at the blow-dry. It sits between a mousse and a hairspray: enough resin to hold expanded shape, light enough to comb through and brush out afterwards.

What's in it

• VP/VA copolymer — the film-forming resin that holds the expanded shape.
• Zeolite — a mineral that adds grip and body at the root.
• Kakadu plum fruit extract and bamboo leaf extract — Terminalia ferdinandiana and Bambusa vulgaris, the botanicals in the formula.
• Dimethyl ether and alcohol — the aerosol propellant and carrier.

How to use it

The on-pack method is damp hair: spray evenly, concentrating at the roots, comb through to distribute, then blow-dry with a round brush to activate the expansion. It is also directed from roots to ends on dry hair when you want medium hold and texture without a full blow-dry.

Worth knowing

Heat activation is where most of the volume comes from, so a round brush earns its keep here. The finish stays flexible rather than stiff — hair keeps its movement and can still be reshaped.
