DunGud Reflection - High Shine Serum 100ml

A silicone-led finishing serum for anyone chasing gloss on mid-lengths and ends without the weight of a straight plant oil. Because it works on damp or dry hair it does double duty: a smoothing pass before a blow-dry, or the last thing you touch before leaving.

The actives

• Cyclopentasiloxane and dimethiconol — the silicone pair doing the surface work. They lie flat over a roughed-up cuticle so light reflects evenly instead of scattering, which is what reads as shine.
• Argan, camellia and macadamia oils — three light plant oils that condition the lengths without the tack of a heavier blend.
• Banksia serrata and chamomile flower extracts, with tocopherol — the botanical and antioxidant side of the formula.

Who it's for

Frizz-prone, coarse or coloured hair gets the most obvious change, but fine hair can use it too — just less, and only from the mid-lengths down. Keep it off the roots and scalp entirely.

Worth knowing

Silicones sit on the hair rather than soaking in, which is why the shine is immediate and why a clarifying wash every few weeks stops it feeling coated. It carries fragrance with limonene, linalool, benzyl benzoate and benzyl salicylate, so check the list if you react to fragrance.
