DunGud Stratosphere - Styling Powder 10g

A root-lift product for fine or flat hair — the one you reach for when the blow-dry sits well but the roots won't stay up. It works by adding grip and body at the base rather than by holding a shape, so the lift stays movable.

What's in it

• Silica silylate and hydrated silica — the texturising silicas. They create friction between strands so hair props itself up, and take the finish down to matte.
• PVP — a film former that helps the lift hold once you've built it.
• Quandong fruit extract and silk extract — the botanical and protein additions.
• Glycerin and alcohol denat. — the alcohol flashes off quickly so the lift sets fast.

How to use it

Dry hair and roots only. Apply a small amount straight at the base and work it in with your fingertips rather than combing it through — the lift comes from separating roots, not coating lengths. It's very easy to over-apply, so start with less than you think.

Worth knowing

A matte finish, so if you want gloss on the lengths, add a shine product after. Best on short to mid-length hair; on long, heavy hair the weight tends to pull root lift back down. At 10g the pack is small, but the amounts this needs are small too.
