Evy Styling & Detangling Coffee Comb

One comb covering sectioning, styling and detangling, so it does the work of three tools in a kit bag. The teeth are finished with rounded ends rather than cut edges, which is the difference between a comb that glides across the scalp and one that scratches it.

How to use it

Section with the tip, then detangle from the ends up in short passes rather than raking from the root. It is fine on wet hair as well as dry — wet hair stretches, so ease knots apart instead of pulling through them. When blow-drying, use it to part and direct sections rather than to build tension.

Who it's for

All hair types, wet or dry, and equally at home in a professional kit or a bathroom drawer. The tail end sections cleanly enough for colour work and the teeth are wide enough not to fight textured hair.

Worth knowing

Rated heat resistant to 80°C, so it is comfortable working alongside a dryer, but it is not a tool to hold against hot iron plates. Vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. The composite includes polypropylene, so treat it as a long-life tool to keep rather than something to put in the compost.
