Evy Vegan Cushion Brush

Boar bristle is the traditional choice for smoothing and shine, and it is also the reason a lot of good brushes are not vegan. Evy's answer is a bristle built to behave like the natural version — enough grip to lay the cuticle down and leave hair smooth and free of static, with no animal product in it. How it is built

Who it's for

Fine to medium hair, and hair extensions. That is the point of the flexible cushion and the rounded bristle tips — finer hair and extensions do not tolerate a brush that pulls. It is a smoothing and finishing brush rather than a round brush or a dedicated wet detangler; Evy makes separate tools for both of those.

Worth knowing

Work in sections and brush from the ends upwards, easing knots out rather than forcing through them. Used that way it will take the frizz off a finished style without reaching for product.
