What's in it

• Sodium laureth sulfate with cocamidopropyl betaine and disodium laureth sulfosuccinate — a standard sulphate cleansing base buffered by two milder co-surfactants, so it cleans properly without being harsh about it.
• Mel (honey) extract and banana fruit extract — the range's signature pair.
• PEG-12 dimethicone and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride — conditioning agents that survive the rinse and leave the lengths easier to comb.
• Glycol distearate — the pearlised look in the bottle.

How to use it

Lather at the scalp and let the run-off do the lengths. The scalp is where the oil is; the ends rarely need direct detergent and hold up better without it. One wash is usually enough on clean hair, two if you're clearing product.

Worth knowing

It is a sulphate shampoo, so it cleanses rather than co-washes — gentle enough for dry, coloured hair in a normal routine, but if maximum colour longevity is the priority a sulphate-free wash will hold tone longer. Follow with the matching conditioner or mask.
