Floractive Hibiscus & Coconut Water Repair Shampoo (for Curly Hair) 300ml

A shampoo built for curls: cleansing enough to clear the product a curl routine accumulates, formulated to leave behind the moisture that pattern depends on.

What's in it

• Sodium laureth sulfate with cocamidopropyl betaine and disodium laureth sulfosuccinate — a sulphate base buffered by two milder co-surfactants.
• Hibiscus flower extract and coconut fruit extract — the range's botanical pair.
• PEG-12 dimethicone and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride — conditioning agents that survive the rinse. On curls this matters more than usual, because detangling after washing is where damage happens.
• Glycol distearate and acrylates copolymer — the pearlised look and body of the formula.

How to use it

Lather at the scalp and let it run down the lengths as you rinse. Scrubbing curls directly tangles them and costs more in the comb-out than it gains. One wash if hair is fairly clean, two if you're clearing gel or butter.

Worth knowing

It's a sulphate wash, so it will strip a silicone-heavy leave-in — usually the point of using it. If you follow a strict curly-girl method this won't fit that routine. Very dry curls may prefer alternating it with a co-wash rather than using it every time.
