Floractive Marroco Golden Plus Argan Oil 60ml

The finishing oil in the Marroco Golden Plus system — three to five drops through damp or dry ends, left in. It's the last step in the range and the one that does the visible work on shine.

What's in it

Six ingredients are named: argan kernel oil (Argania spinosa) carried in cyclomethicone, dimethicone, aminopropyl phenyl trimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane, with parfum. In practice that's one plant oil in a silicone blend — the silicones are why it spreads so thin, dries down quickly and doesn't feel greasy the way a neat oil does.

How to use it

Warm three to five drops between your palms and take it through mid-lengths and ends. Don't rinse. On damp hair it works as a smoothing base before a blow-dry; on dry hair as a finishing gloss over a style that's already set. A few drops can also be mixed into the Marroco mask before applying.

Worth knowing

Because it's silicone-led, the shine is immediate and sits on the surface rather than absorbing in. Use it sparingly on fine hair — this is a product where one drop too many is obvious straight away. At three to five drops a use, 60mL lasts a long time.
