The actives

• Hydrolysed vegetable protein — a plant-derived protein broken down small enough to work into the hair shaft, formulated to rebuild structure and reduce breakage in hair that has lost strength.
• Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) — holds moisture in the fibre, softens the surface and supports elasticity, so hair bends rather than snaps.

How to use it

Squeeze the water out of your hair first so the treatment isn't diluted on contact. Work it in from roots to ends, comb it through, and give it the full time — a rushed minute does very little. It rinses out; this is not a leave-in.

Worth knowing

Protein and moisture work as a pair. If hair starts to feel stiff or straw-like after a run of protein, ease back and let your conditioner do more of the work. If it feels soft but limp and won't hold a style, this is the missing step. Judge it over several weeks, not one wash.
