King Brown Cream Pomade 75g

A light-hold, water-based cream pomade for relaxed styles — the sort of finish that looks like hair rather than product. It sits at the softer end of the King Brown range: enough control to shape and separate, not enough to lock a hard part or a slick back in place.

What's in it

• Water base — the first ingredient, which is why it rinses out more easily than an oil-based pomade.
• Lanolin and carnauba wax — the waxes providing the pliable, light hold.
• VP/VA copolymer and PVP — film-formers that hold texture without setting hard.

How to use it

Warm a small amount thoroughly between your palms first — cream pomades apply patchily if you skip that. Work through dry or slightly damp hair. Fingers for relaxed texture, a comb if you want more definition. Add more only if you need stronger hold.

Who it's for

Thin to normal hair, and loose, textured or relaxed styles. The finish is a neutral sheen — neither glossy nor fully matte. If you want firm hold or a true matte, the Matte or Original pomades are the better call.
