A twist-up lip pencil from La Biosthétique's make-up range, in shade LL30, Red. It is a waterproof formula with a silky lay-down, which means it draws a clean edge in one pass and stays where you put it — the practical reason to line lips at all, especially under a red.

How to use it

Outline from the centre of the top lip out to each corner, then the bottom lip, following your natural border. Fill the whole lip in for a longer-wearing base under lipstick or gloss, or wear it on its own for a matte, worked-in finish.

Worth knowing

0.28 g. Vegan and silicone-free. Sharpen nothing — the tip retracts, so wind it back down before capping to avoid snapping it.
