LA BIOSTHETIQUE Self Tanning Drops RT 30ml

A 30 ml self-tanning concentrate from La Biosthétique's Soleil range, supplied as a hydrogel in a pipette bottle for the face and décolletage. It is not applied neat — you mix it into the moisturiser you already use, and the number of drops is how you control the depth of colour.

The actives

• DHA (dihydroxyacetone) — the self-tanning ingredient. It reacts with proteins in the outermost layer of skin to develop a brown colour.
• Hydro complex of sugar alcohols — supplies and regulates moisture, so the drops do not leave skin feeling tight.

How to use it

Mix two to five drops into your usual face cream or lotion in the palm, then apply immediately and evenly to cleansed skin on the face, neck and décolletage. Start at the lower end of that range and build over successive days rather than going straight to five. Wash your hands afterwards.

Worth knowing

La Biosthétique states plainly that the drops contain no UV filters and that sun protection should still be used when sunbathing — a self-tan changes your colour, not your sun sensitivity. The formula is vegan and cruelty-free, and free from gluten, silicones and sulphates.
