The 50ml travel size of the Protective Repair Mask, which belongs to La Biosthétique's Long Hair range — not a general repair mask, but one built around the particular problem of length. The ends of long hair are years old and have been through everything the rest of it has, several times over.

What's in it

• Rapeseed oil glycerides, jojoba and sunflower wax — smooth rough structure, seal the surface and hold moisture inside.
• Inulin — a plant polysaccharide that supplies moisture and works on elasticity and softness.
• Cationic guar — evens out structural differences along the length and improves combability.
• Wheat bran extract — reduces how much environmental particulate settles on the hair.

How to use it

After washing, distribute evenly through the lengths and ends — there is no reason to take it to the roots. Leave it two to five minutes as an express treatment, or ten to fifteen for deep conditioning, then rinse well.
