O&M Fine Intellect Shampoo 350ml

Fine hair goes flat for two reasons: the strands are thinner, and residue from oil and product weighs down what body there is. A volumising shampoo works mostly on the second — cleanse thoroughly, leave nothing behind, and the hair stands up on its own.

What's in it

• Cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, lauryl glucoside, coco-glucoside and sodium cocoyl glycinate — a mild multi-surfactant system rather than one harsh detergent.
• Panthenol (provitamin B5) — adds body to the strand as well as moisture.
• Hydrolysed rice, vegetable and jojoba proteins — protein fragments that give fine hair substance.
• Polyquaternium-110 and polyquaternium-10 — conditioning polymers, so manageability without oil weight.
• Lemon aspen, lilly pilly and Davidson's plum fruit extracts — native Australian fruit extracts.

How to use it

Work it into the scalp and give it long enough to actually lift the oil; thirty seconds of massage does more than a bigger squeeze of product. Rinse thoroughly, because leftover shampoo is itself a source of flatness. Follow with Fine Intellect Conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends only.
