O&M Original Queenie Firm Hold 300ml

Firm-hold hairspray divides on one question: does it lock the shape and stay locked, or hold and still let the hair move? Original Queenie sits on the flexible side of firm — enough structure to keep a set in place through the day, loose enough to brush out and reshape without shattering.

What's in it

• Octylacrylamide/acrylates/butylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer and VA/crotonates copolymer — the two film-formers that create the hold.
• Panthenol and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) — conditioning agents in the spray.
• Aminopropyl phenyl trimethicone — a silicone that keeps the finish smooth.
• Quandong and lilly pilly fruit extracts — native Australian fruit extracts.

How to use it

Spray from 20–30cm onto dry, finished hair and keep moving as you go. That distance is what gives an even mist rather than a wet patch that dries stiff. Build in light layers for more control: one heavy pass gives less hold and more residue than two light ones.

Worth knowing

Applied evenly it is formulated to dry without visible flaking or tack, and it brushes out instead of building up, which is what makes it usable on a second-day style. It works over a blow-dry, over hot tools, or on a back-brushed root.
