This is a concentrate, not a ready-to-use rinse, and that is the part most people miss. It is diluted with water before it goes near the hair, which is why a single bottle lasts as long as it does.

How to use it

Mix one part Anti Tap Water to eight parts water. Apply the diluted solution as the last step of the wash, once you have rinsed out your conditioner, working it through the lengths and over the attachment points. Great Lengths also recommends it after extensions have been taken out and after other chemical work.

What's in it

  • Panthenol — a humectant used to hold moisture in the fibre.
  • Keratin amino acids — protein fragments deposited onto the hair.
  • Biotin and GSP-T® — the remaining two named ingredients in the Great Lengths formula.

Worth knowing

The pH of 3.2 is the working part: an acidic finish contracts the cuticle layer, which is why it goes on last rather than earlier in the wash. At the 1:8 ratio a 250mL bottle makes just over two litres of working solution. Great Lengths sells a trigger applicator built for that mix if you would rather not measure it out each time.

Apply as directed on product packaging.
