The weekly deep-conditioning step for curls and waves — for hair that holds its pattern well enough but goes dry and frizzy between wash days.

The actives

• Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract and Cocos nucifera fruit extract — the coconut water and hibiscus pair the range is named for.
• Argan kernel oil and shea butter — the heavier lipid load. Curls need more oil than straight hair because the bends in the strand make it harder for scalp oil to travel down.
• Cetyl alcohol and cetrimonium chloride — the conditioning base that flattens the cuticle and makes detangling possible.
• Panthenol, glycerin and tocopheryl acetate — hydration and antioxidant support.

How to use it

Squeeze the water out, then apply through mid-lengths and ends in sections. On curls it's worth raking it through with your fingers rather than a comb — it distributes just as well and disturbs the pattern far less. Five minutes, once or twice a week.

Who it's for

Curly and wavy hair across pattern types, from loose waves to tighter curls. Not the right pick for fine, straight hair — the oil and butter load in it will flatten that rather than help it.
