Step one of Structure Repair, La Biosthetique's range for dry and damaged hair. This is the wash for hair that has been coloured, heat-styled or weathered to the point where it feels rough through the mid-lengths and snaps at the ends.

How to use it

Distribute evenly through wet hair and onto the scalp, massage in, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with the Nourishing Conditioner for the everyday routine, or the Nourishing Mask when the ends need more than a few minutes.

Who it's for

Normal to thick, dry or hard-to-manage hair. Because it is a rich, moisturising wash with a structure-balancing effect, it is not the shampoo for fine or limp hair — La Biosthetique's Long Hair Protective Volumising Shampoo is built for that instead.

Worth knowing

Silicone-free and vegan. The brand makes it in 100ml and 250ml; this is the 250ml. It is the opening step of a four-part range — shampoo, then conditioner or mask, then Hydrating Drops or the Nourishing Conditioning Spray as a leave-in.
