LA BIOSTHETIQUE Tinted Eyebrow Gel Dark Brown

A brow gel in Dark Brown, one of three shades in the range alongside Beige Brown and Grey Brown. It comes with a fine brush rather than a spoolie, which changes how you use it: this is for drawing colour into gaps and thin patches, then setting the whole brow in place.

What's in it

• Specially coated colour pigments — deposit colour evenly and hold it there without going patchy.
• A high proportion of volatile ingredients — flash off quickly, so the gel sets fast once it is on.
• A film former — is what stays behind, holding brow hairs where you put them.

How to use it

Use the fine brush to place colour into sparse spots first, working in the direction the hairs grow, then brush through the rest of the brow to set it. Coverage is medium and the finish is matte, so you can build the shape up in passes rather than committing in one stroke.

Worth knowing

4ml. Because so much of the base is volatile, screw the cap down properly between uses or the gel will thicken in the tube. It is made to hold all day, so plan on removing it with a cleanser rather than water.
