O&M Atonic 250ml

A thickening spritz you spray onto damp roots before a blow-dry, not a finishing product. Atonic works with the dryer rather than instead of it — the body comes from a film-former setting around each strand while heat and a round brush hold the root up, which is why the blow-dry step is not optional.

The actives

• PVP — the film-former. It dries to a light, flexible cast that gives fine hair something to hold its shape with.
• Hydrolysed rice protein and hydrolysed vegetable protein — proteins that add body to the hair shaft itself.
• Certified organic coconut oil — for thickness and softness, offsetting the drying effect of the alcohol base.
• Australian native fruit extracts — lemon aspen, Davidson plum and lilly pilly.
• Amodimethicone and cetrimonium chloride — conditioning agents that keep the finish from feeling crunchy.

How to use it

Mist evenly over damp hair with the focus at the roots, comb through so it is not sitting in patches, then blow-dry with a round brush, lifting each section at the root as you go. Air-drying will give you far less.

Worth knowing

Best on fine or flat hair. Coarse hair that already has body will get less from it.
