Unwritten Oh High! Vitamin Volumising Primer 100ml

A lightweight primer applied before you blow-dry, aimed at fine or flat hair that needs root lift. It's a base layer rather than a finishing product — the body comes from the polymers drying into the hair while you brush it into shape.

What's in it

• Polyimide-1 and PVP — film-forming polymers that give hair body and hold the lift you dry in.
• Polyquaternium-69 — a styling polymer that adds smoothness alongside the hold.
• Hydrolysed quinoa — a small plant protein that conditions the fibre.
• Panthenol (provitamin B5) — a humectant that softens the feel.
• Sodium hyaluronate and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid — humectants for moisture retention.

How to use it

Work through damp hair, concentrating at the roots where you want lift, then blow-dry — a round brush at the root is what turns primer into visible volume. It layers under other styling products without conflict.

Worth knowing

It's alcohol-based, which is why it dries fast and adds no weight, and also why it belongs on damp hair rather than dry. Best on fine or flat hair; coarse or very dry hair will want something with more emollient in it.
