DunGud Sideshow - Styling Balm 200ml

A light-hold balm that sits between a cream and a gel — enough control to shape a blow-dry or scrunch a wave, not enough to lock a style in place. It suits short to mid-length hair, where control matters more than strength.

What's in it

• VP/methacrylamide/vinyl imidazole and acrylamidopropyltrimonium chloride copolymers — the film formers behind the light hold, flexible enough that you can reshape hair later in the day.
• Cyclopentasiloxane and dimethiconol — slip and the lustre the balm is known for.
• Hydrolysed wheat protein, panthenol, glycerin and chamomile extract — the conditioning side, so it isn't purely a styling film.

How to use it

Emulsify a small amount between the palms first; straight from the tube puts too much in one place. Damp hair for a blow-out with movement, dry hair for shaping and definition. Build in thin layers rather than committing everything at once.

Worth knowing

This is genuinely a light hold. On thick or heavy hair it will smooth and add shine but won't hold a structured shape — pair it with something stronger if that's what you need. It's preserved with DMDM hydantoin and iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, so read the full list if you're sensitive to preservatives.
