Calming Lipokerine E Shampoo is the wash step in La Biosthétique's Méthode Sensitive range, made for scalps that tolerate very little — reactive, itchy, tight, or easily set off by fragrance. The cleansing system is deliberately mild and the formula carries no perfume at all, removing a common trigger rather than masking it. It suits anyone who finds ordinary shampoo leaves the scalp feeling worse than before.

The actives

• Oat lipoamino acid — the gentle cleansing agent; it lifts oil and product while preserving the scalp's natural balance.
• Oat extract and oat polyphenol — formulated to calm itchiness and redness and to support the skin's protective barrier.
• Panthenol — moisture for the scalp and the lengths.
• Guar bean polysaccharide — conditions as it rinses, so hair combs out easily and feels soft, not squeaky.

How to use it

Spread evenly through the hair and over the scalp, leave for a short time, then rinse out thoroughly. Follow with Calming Scalp Lotion, the leave-in from the same range.
