LA BIOSTHETIQUE Curl Protecting Spray RT 150ml (was Curl Protect & Spray)

A 150ml styling spray for curls and waves that are shaped with heat. La Biosthétique sold it as Curl Protect & Style before the rename; the job is the same. It is a light-hold preparation you spray in before the curling iron or the dryer, so the hair keeps its shape without going crisp.

What's in it

• Provitamin B5 (panthenol) — holds moisture in the hair so it does not dry out under heat.
• Vegetable glycerine — a humectant; keeps the feel soft rather than coated.
• Styling polymer — supplies the light hold and the bounce.

How to use it

Shake well. Spray into damp hair before blow-drying, or into dry hair before using a curling iron, holding it about 20cm away. Work section by section rather than misting the whole head at once.

Worth knowing

Hold sits at the light end, so this is a base layer rather than a finish — it will sit happily under a curl cream or gel if you want firmer definition. The scent is delicate rather than perfumed.
