LA BIOSTHETIQUE Shape Clay RT 75ml (was Modulator)

Shape Clay is La Biosthétique's short-hair styling paste, sold as Modulator until the range was renamed — same 75 ml tub, same job. It is the product for cuts that need to be built rather than smoothed: crops, textured quiffs, disconnected fringes, anything where you want to see separation between the pieces.

What's in it

• Mineral white clay — provides the grip and the silky matte effect.
• Modelling polymers — create hold that stays flexible enough to restyle.
• Lecithin, white lupin, microalgae extract and hydrolysed keratin — round out the formula.

How to use it

Warm a small amount between dry palms and work it through dry or still slightly damp hair. Worked into wet hair instead, the same paste gives a wet-look finish. La Biosthétique suggests mixing it with Volumising Powder when you want extra lift alongside the grip.

Who it's for

Short to mid-length cuts that need definition and a matte, worked-through look. Less suited to anyone chasing gloss or a slick finish — the matte is the point, not a compromise.
