A thermo-activated smoothing fluid: it does nothing much in the bottle and only works once heat is applied, which is why it goes into damp hair before blow-drying rather than onto a finished style. The brand rates the hold at 2 out of 5, so it smooths and weighs frizz down without setting the hair stiff.

What's in it

• Wheat proteins — strengthen the hair structure and carry the heat-activated smoothing.
• Silk proteins — nourish and lie down the cuticle, which is where the gloss comes from.
• Provitamin B5 (panthenol) — binds moisture into the hair so smoothing doesn't cost you softness.

How to use it

Distribute evenly through damp hair, blow-dry it straight with tension, and follow with a straightening iron if the texture needs it. Heat is the activator — air-drying will not give you the result.

Sold previously as Therm-O-Flat; same product, new name. La Biosthétique still recommends a dedicated Heat Protecting Spray before you go in with irons — this is a smoothing fluid first. It contains silk protein, so it is not a vegan formula. 150ml.
