O&M Surf Bomb 150ml

Surf Bomb is a salt-based texture spray for lived-in, undone wave — the grit and separation you get after a swim, minus the swim. It suits anyone chasing movement rather than hold, and works as readily on straight hair you want to rough up as on natural wave you want to exaggerate.

The actives

• Sodium chloride — the salt that creates grip and friction between strands.
• PVP — a film-forming polymer that sets the shape you scrunch in.
• Hydrolysed rice protein — a small plant protein that adds body to the strand.
• Cucumber juice and glycerin — humectants that stop the finish reading entirely dry.

How to use it

Mist onto damp or dry hair, then scrunch through the lengths. Air-dry for a relaxed wave, or diffuse if you want the texture to sit up with more volume. Build in thin layers rather than saturating in one pass.

Worth knowing

Salt sprays trade slip for grip. Fine hair takes it well and reads fuller; drier or coarser hair is better off pairing it with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner so the texture doesn't tip into roughness. The formula is alcohol-based, so it dries fast.
